Visibility

Search & AI Visibility

Be found in search. Be understood by AI.

Prisma Growth helps brands clarify what they offer, strengthen the foundations search and AI systems rely on, and define how visibility will be measured—without treating placement as something an agency can control.

What AI Visibility means

AI Visibility is whether and how a brand is named, mentioned, recommended, or cited in answers produced by agreed AI assistants for an agreed set of prompts. It is measured separately from search rankings and does not mean guaranteed placement or referral traffic.

Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) describe the work behind that goal: making brand information easier to identify, retrieve, and represent in direct and generative answers. They support SEO; they do not replace it.

Two connected paths show the foundations for being findable in search and understandable to AI. Both lead to an agreed visibility baseline, while rankings, citations, recommendations, and placement remain outside Prisma Growth’s control.
FindableTechnical SEO, crawlability, structured data, and content. UnderstandableEntity consistency and clear, helpful information. Shared measureAn agreed visibility baseline.

Foundation

Build the foundations for discovery

The work starts with information that can be accessed, understood, and connected to a clear brand entity. The exact scope is defined after discovery.

Technical SEO

Review the site structure and page signals that help search systems access and interpret the website.

Content

Develop clear, relevant pages around the questions the agreed audience needs answered.

Structured data

Use structured data where it accurately reflects visible page content and helps clarify its meaning.

Entity consistency

Keep the brand name, offer, audience, and verified business details consistent across the agreed sources.

Crawlability

Identify barriers that may prevent important pages or information from being accessed and indexed.

Helpful information

Make important information specific, well organised, and useful enough to answer a real question without unnecessary jargon.

Measurement boundaries

What we define with you before any baseline

Before a baseline is taken, Prisma Growth agrees with you on the boundaries of the measurement:

DefinitionWhat we agree
Prompt setThe exact questions included in the sample.
Engine listThe AI assistants included in the review.
Language and geographyThe language and market context applied where relevant.
CadenceWhen the same agreed sample will be reviewed again.
Mention and citationWhat counts as a name, mention, recommendation, or citation in the record.

These choices establish what the baseline covers. Any ongoing measurement scope is agreed separately.

Limits

What the work can influence—and what it cannot control

Prisma Growth builds the conditions that can improve findability and understandability, then measures the agreed signals. Prisma Growth does not sell or promise placement.

The work can influence

  • The clarity and consistency of your brand information.
  • The technical and content foundations of your website.
  • The structure, specificity, and usefulness of the content in scope.
  • The definitions, baseline, and review cadence used to assess visibility.

Prisma Growth cannot control

  • Whether or when a search engine ranks a page.
  • Whether an AI assistant names, mentions, cites, or recommends a brand.
  • The exact wording, position, or sources selected in a third-party answer.
  • Referral traffic, leads, revenue, or any other business outcome from this work alone.

Connected work

Visibility is one part of the growth system

Discovery should not sit apart from the brand message, acquisition activity, website experience, or measurement plan. Where the agreed scope requires them, Prisma Growth connects Search & AI Visibility to Performance Marketing and the wider growth system under one accountable plan.
